Invisalign Treatments We Offer

  • Invisalign: Invisalign gives you a full, top-and-bottom treatment plan built around clear, removable aligners. You wear each tray for one to two weeks as your teeth gradually shift into a straighter position, with no metal brackets or wires involved.
  • Invisalign Teen: Invisalign Teen is designed for growing smiles, with compliance indicators built into each aligner so parents and dentists can track wear time. Replacement aligners are included for lost or misplaced trays, giving teenagers room to adjust without slowing down treatment.
  • Invisalign vs. metal braces: Invisalign vs. metal braces comes down to comfort, appearance, and daily routine. This comparison walks you through both options side by side, covering treatment time, cost, and upkeep, so you pick the right path for your smile.
  • Orthodontics: Orthodontics covers traditional treatment options for complex bite and alignment cases beyond clear aligners. Dr. Kurtz evaluates your teeth, jaw alignment, and long-term oral health goals to recommend the right approach for your specific case.
  • Invisalign attachments: Invisalign attachments are small, tooth-colored shapes bonded onto specific teeth to give your aligners extra grip. These shapes let your trays apply controlled pressure in precise directions, helping teeth rotate, tip, or shift in ways plain aligners struggle to manage.

Invisalign Dental Technology

  • AcceleDent: AcceleDent is a supplemental device speeding up treatment time by up to 50 percent. You wear it for twenty minutes each day alongside your aligners, using gentle vibration to encourage faster tooth movement and shorten your overall treatment time.
  • iTero digital scanner: The iTero digital scanner replaces messy putty impressions with a quick, wand-based scan of your teeth. Within minutes, it captures a precise 3D image your dentist uses to plan treatment, review progress, and show how your smile will change.

What Happens During Your First Visit

  • Digital scan: The iTero scanner captures a precise 3D image of your teeth in minutes, replacing messy putty impressions and uncomfortable trays. This scan gives Dr. Kurtz a clear view of your bite and alignment.
  • Treatment plan: Dr. Kurtz reviews your scan in detail and builds a custom aligner sequence mapped to your specific case. Each stage shows how your teeth move, giving you a clear picture of your treatment.
  • Aligner fitting: You receive your first set of aligners, which Dr. Kurtz fits and checks before you leave the office. He walks you through wear time, cleaning steps, and what to expect over your first few days.
  • Progress checkups: Regular visits let Dr. Kurtz track tooth movement against your treatment plan and confirm every stage stays on schedule. He checks aligner fit, addresses concerns, and adjusts your plan as needed.
  • Retention: Once active treatment ends, Dr. Kurtz fits you with a retainer designed to hold your new smile in place. Wearing it as directed protects your results and keeps your teeth from drifting back.

FAQs

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Most cases take 12 to 18 months, though mild cases finish faster and complex cases take longer. Dr. Kurtz gives you a personalized timeline during your first visit.

Is Invisalign a good fit for teenagers in High Park North?

Yes. Invisalign Teen includes wear indicators, so parents and dentists can track compliance, along with extra aligners for lost or misplaced trays.

Does Invisalign Toronto accept dental insurance?

We work with patients covered by many major dental insurance providers and can help you understand your available benefits. Bring your insurance details to your first appointment, and our team verifies your coverage before treatment starts.

Do I need a referral to book an Invisalign consultation?

What makes Invisalign different from metal braces?

Invisalign aligners are clear, removable, and comfortable against your gums and cheeks. You can take them out to eat, brush, and floss, making your daily routine easier than with fixed metal brackets.
